We spent a beautiful 9 days in your home. Love the lanai and the hot tub. The yard is absolutely gorgeous. The beds super comfy. A great home for 2 families to re-energize. The snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers were awesome when we spent the day at the beach. Our favorite beach was Po'olenalena (good boogie boarding nice sandy bottom, excellent snorkeling, one day we saw 10 turtles).

Thanks. The house was excellent! The pictures don not do it justice. Should be updated. As we found the yard much nicer that expected. Overall the whole trip was “Epic”!

Wow! What an amazing vacation. Everything was spectacular :). We loved Big Beach, Po'olenalena Beach and Kamaole III (so convenient!). We had a blast zip lining in Kaanapali. The Kai Kanani snorkel cruise (best crew ever!) and our beautiful Christmas Dinner at the Fairmont. This house was PERFECT for our families – a real relaxing retreat with everything we could need :) Thank you so much Denise and Loren.

This was the escape we needed – Lots of sun, lots of laughter, lots of food! We had a great time celebrating in your home – it was just perfect for our two families. Two things not to miss: The Kai Kanani snorkel trip (amazing friendly crew) and Pu'ollenalena beach. We will be back! Mahalo!

Cant tell you how “awesome” it is to be back home in Maui and feel so at home in your beautiful tropical home! We were so happy and comfortable we had to give ourselves a “kick” to get out the door. I highly recommend going the “backside” to the 7 sacred pools, Hana. Stop at the Tedechi Winery. Come back same way, you have the “light” on your side. Must eat plate lunch in Lahaina at Aloha Mixed Plate. Kamaole II (straight down to beach) for sunsets. Your decks and spa are wonderful (plus ocean view). Love the beds – great sleep. All your heart and soul you have put into house shows – a MUST return.

Thanks for the time of my life! 10-10-10 was amazing for all of us. Maui is amazing but the family on this island and love is what made our trip and day so special. We will be back next year!!

We went to the beach, snorkeled every day. We had a wonderful time. We saw turtles! We took the Quicksilver tour and saw many fish at Molokini tour (worth it). Mahalo the Holmes Clan and Zerholmesby's. P.S Loved Little Beach :)

Here for my uncles wedding. Me (Emilee) and Lizzie were the flower girls. This place was awesome.
The house was great. It was a great location for all the places we needed to go to.
I love the house so much and we went to little beach and everybody was NAKED.
We loved our vacation here. The house was awesome and accommodated our Maui adventures perfectly. We loved the snorkeling, especially at Ulua beach, the shredded beef and fish tacos at Taqueria Cruz, the road to Hana and the sunrise at the crater. The marathon sucked :) but the rest of the vacation was wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I came with my running group to the Maui Marathon, this home was perfect for us. We got up every morning and went on a nice 8 mile jog through Wailea. Beautiful! The Marathon was awesome. The people of Maui are kind and wonderful. Thank you! We will be back. Mahalo

We came here for my daughters wedding which is today at 5:00 on the beach. We have family from California and Washington 10 in all. We went to Lahaina three times so far and snorkeled and swam and of course shopped. The family and my daughter April were so happy at the house and how well it was supplied with towels and beach stuff. We hope to come back to the house the following summers. It's a perfect place because it's away from the main streets to relax after a full day.
Mahalo – Great house in a beautiful place. Everything was perfect for the 12 of us.

What a lovely home! Clean, bright, comfortable and had everything we needed. We made good use of the boogie boards! It was so great to spend the day at the beach and than come “home” to this quiet and clam oasis. We loved sitting on the lanai each afternoon, enjoying the breeze. We had the best time ever around the house, in the hot tub and of course at the beach Definitely plan to spend a day in Lahaina and going to the top of the volcano is a must! (It is windy, take a jacket) There is excellent snorkeling at the beach down the street, definitely try out the gear in the back shed. Well, were off to Waikiki for a week now! Hope to be back soon!

Colp's – We love the location. Beach was great. Shopping was wonderful. Maui is a great island. I really hope we can get back to this corner of the world. The house suited us great and it was very comfortable.

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this lovely property, and for your hospitality. It's nice to have a place to spread out and relax, and It's wonderful to be as close to all the great beaches of South Maui. From sunset on Haleakala to the swimming with the turtles, it was a memorable week. Mahalo nui loa!

Thank you for having such a great place for us to call home while in Maui! We had a wonderful time surfing, hiking, and going to the beach and then coming home and drinking beers and grilling. We are sad to leave this paradise!

Just wanted to say thank you too Denise and Loren for their great rental. It was very accommodating for our family of 20 :) Not all 20 stayed here :) The patio decks are great for kicking back and drinking Kai vodka you can purchase from Costco. Maui was beautiful and a trip to Molokini was great. Only bad things was there was so little fish to see. Overall great time. Mahalo long time!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay…nice home away from home + a beautiful yard and great Jacuzzi: perfect location for short trips to little beach….no tan lines! Took a trip to Hana and explored waterfalls, rainforest, cool pools, and red sand beach. Great weather for our entire time here. Sunny days and bright moonlight. Aloha and Mahalo!

The house was beautiful, and so was the snorkeling. We went to three different sights, Big Beach, Wailea Bach, and Ulua Beach. The last was my favorite, but they were all great. We brought our family of 11 to Maui to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to gather! The house is beautiful and very amenable to more than one family unit (two kitchens!). It is centrally located in the town of Kihei, where numerous beaches are just waiting for you to enjoy them.

The house and grounds are beautiful and very amenable to taking advantage of all that the island has to offer. Kihei is a great, family-friendly town, and there are so many beaches nearby that you could stay forever without getting tired of exploring them. I think it's hard for anyone to leave this enchanted place and the first thing you do when you leave is start planning the next trip! I know we would love to spend more time in the "Mauihouse4rent" and thank Denise and Loren for the hospitality shown during our vacation. Mahalo!

The 9 of us just got back from a week in your house and couldn't be happier! Everything was perfect from the view to the decorating - and being 9 gay men we know decorating! - to the quiet location. We left you a couple of boogie boards. Couldn't believe the amount of beach stuff you had for us to use. None of the guys who needed snorkel gear had to rent at all - they just used from your shed. We also appreciated the advice on activities and general Maui information you gave. Love the place and hope to be back soon!
The house was convenient, spacious enough for our group, quiet neighborhood, nice touch with the spray on the lanai. Except for some ants in one of the downstairs bedrooms, the place was clean. We would like to stay there again, hopefully in 2012.

Well, the eight of us just got back this past Friday, (09-16-11) and we had a GREAT time! Stayed seven nights/ eight days! This is my second time to your Beautiful house, sixth time to Maui, and the Maui House did not disappoint!
For those of you reading this and thinking, should I or shouldn't I, just do it! You will be so glad you did! The house is clean, quiet, big, totally furnished and the location couldn't be better!
Worried about parking? We had three cars and there was still plenty of room for more! The spa in the back yard...WONDERFUL! Especially after a long day of site seeing! We used one of the two barbecues a couple of nights to cook our dinner - so good! Oh yeah, the yards are beautiful too! Denise and Loren obviously have a green thumb because their front and back yard couldn't look any prettier!
Will I come back? I am all ready booking my stay for next year! Maui no ka oi means Maui is the best! So is the Maui House!

We rented this house to stay in for our wedding in May. We had both our parents and siblings stay with us which was amazing to be able to all stay in the same place together, but not feel like we were crowded. The house is very well maintained and in the perfect location. The beach is only a few blocks away which was perfect for our morning walks!! The owners were very nice and helpful and we felt that they truly cared for us. We had a small issue with ants and we called Loren and he was over there that same day to take care of it for us!! They also provided sand toys, chairs and all kinds of beach stuff for us to use which definitely saved us from having to rent all that! We all can't wait for our next family vacation to Hawaii, we will definitely be staying here again!
